bra/no bra??

hi all,

i was just wondering whether i should wear bra at night or not because i don't leak so much now. I have conflicting information about that. Any ideas, please.

I don't wear a bra to bed, Priya. I really only wear one during the day, I take it off after dinner in the evening.

And I'm not a small girl either, I wear an E cup but that's only because that's the biggest Target stocked! If I got properly fitted I'd probably be a FF, that's what I was after I had my first baby. I don't leak much either, and I just find it easier to BF at night (baby sleeps with me) if I can just slide him towards me, lift my shirt, and off he goes.

I saw someone on here say once that you are better off wearing a crop top to bed at nights rather than a bra.

Priya - I dont wear a bra....only if I'm going out or if people are coming around.

I wear a singlet top, the kind you get from Target. They are tight enough to give support (some) but loose enough to not cause lumps and be REALLY comfortable! :)

Ps. I'm like Queen...definately NOT small!

I'm "average" :laughing: but have never worn a bra to bed. When I leaked I wore a singlet top but thats not a problem though so I sleep without anything. We colseep so DS can latch on without waking me up!

uuummm.....if you don't wear a bra to bed, how do you keep your breast pads in?? or do you just leak everywhere anyway? lol

I dnever wore breastpads, I slept on a towel for the first 8 weeks.

i dont wear one to bed & i'm a F cup :eek: I dont leak though either.

Of a day i'm a sinlet with shelf bra wearer :thumbsup: I cant afford $50+ per bra :no:

I used to sleep on two towels and wear a bra with breast pads, but I'd still soak through everything. No wonder I never had any milk left for the babies. :(

I fold a cloth nappy up and lay it across my boobs under my PJs at night :)

During the day I wear a daggy tshirt and go braless, or I tuck a nappy into an old bra.. unless I'm going out, then it's nursing bra and breastpad time. :p

(and people wonder why I get uptight when they turn up unannounced)

I have never worn a bra to bed when I was leaking at night I would just wear a tight singlet top and put some b/pads in there.

Angel-kisses, Im glad to hear Im not alone... earlier on, I was often soaking my bed thru! I wore a bra to bed for the first couple of months.. now I just wear a shelf bra singlet. Mind you, I often still leak.. I think I could feed a couple of bubs with my supply! :o

with my first bub i tried to wear a top to bed, but after a while i just got annoyed at leaking all over the bed anyway....
so with bub 1 & bub 2 i just let my big G[eeeeee] cups leek in freedom on towels/cloth nappies on the bed... much more comfortable - welll, as comfortable as leaking G cups can be!:eek:

ohhhh, i sooooo hated that.... people just dont understand, for some of us its all about comfort PARTICULARLY if you are 'full' breasted & they dont just conveniently sit where they are meant to etc...

[one day i was out the back with hubby getting sheets etc off the line, had had an unwell day so had been in bed, so i was 'hanging' free, then we hear these voices, my SisIL & brood of 5 [including teenage sons!] had come to visit unexpectedly, climbed over the fence!!!! :eek:
well, i was in the middle of the clothesline with sheets hanging around me - i just froze!!! i quickly panicked then realised i had to make a run for it, so i grabbed some sheets off & on my run past i hastely stated sorry im not well i have to go!]

sorry for the hijacking of the thread, it just triggered a bad memory!!
