Has this ever happened to you? or was this a crazy lady?

hey, i was sitting in my car yesterday just waiting for a friend and while i was parked a lady came over from nowhere knocked on my window and was telling me to be careful on the roads as there had been alot of cops on the roads looking for somone anyway that was all fine and well then she stopped and looked at me the proceeded to ask me if i was pregnant i said no and she said to me that i am about 5 1/2 weeks pregnant with a girl i tried to assure her i wasn't and that i want another bub after my study and training but she insisted i was pregnant and was carrying a girl and will find out all this in about 9weeks wft now i am freaking wondering if she was crazy or psychic :detective: in my mind i don't see how i could be pregnant but mind is going haywire atm, she told me my army training will have to wait alittle longer but i will get there bust bub on the way. so here i s my question to all of you, have you had a complete stranger approach u and tell u that you were pregnant? and did it turn out to be true or did it turn out to be false? wanting to find out if this was a crazy lady lol, she didn't offend me or anything but yeah got me thinking. please any stories on ur experience would great :yes:

Hahaha :laughing: yeah i'm so tempted to go out and get a pregnancy test just to find out if she is crazy or not, might think about it, ni have no symptoms and i don't see how possible to be pregnant but people have fallen pregnant while so called fool proof so kinda freaking out lol maybe it is me who is crazy :detective:.

It happened to my friend once! She was at work and a customer told her out of the blue that she could 'see' a little girl above her head. My friend went home and did a test. She now has a happy little 3 year old girl ;)

I do want another baby and hope to have a girl next BUT..... now's is the absolute wrong time, i have to already a girl 5 and a son 20 months and right now i am studying and about to go in for my defence training in the next few months so bad timing i have waited for the past 6 years to go into the army and now is my chance to so if i was pregnant it would be the worst timing :no: i would have to stop training going ahead and i would not be able to work once i have finished studying for awhile. anyway off topic lol back to to anyone who has had a pyshcic pregnancy prediction :detective:

I do believe it's possible - unlikely but possible.

I knew a little girl who was psychic. She was a friends daughter and she was about 6 and she was sitting on the step outside and she looked miserable. I asked her what was wrong and she told me that she felt sad for the mum of two little kids who were left in the car and they fell asleep because it was too hot. I just assured her it was okay but was thinking gee she's a bit young to watch the news as she was very clearly disturbed by it. :(

Then a month later I was talking to a mutual friend about her - I said she's a very thoughtful compassionate little girl I relayed that story to the mutual friend and I commented that it was really sweet that her stress was sympathy for the mum who would feel bad for what she did. My friend just :eek: at me. That conversation with the little girl took place a month earlier and two weeks later the mutual friend was baby sitting her and when they got to the shops there was an ambulance there because two small children had been left in the car. They had passed out in the heat.

So she knew 2 weeks before it happened that it would.

Poor little mite. She was so stressed about it.


I reckon most people are crazy but I do think some people (or in some circumstances) are psychic.

Dp kept saying 'something bad is going to happen' the two days before Jasper stopped breathing. I got so annoyed cos he didn't know anything else just something bad. And then the morning it happened I skidded down the stairs with newborn baby in my arms, braced to not fall, but 11 days after a csection it hurt like a biatch but I was relieved and thought that must have been the bad thing. :no: wasn't. :(

i have not had someone tell me i was pregnant, but i had a random guy come up to me in a restraunt when i was 4 days overdue with DD, tell me that I was having a little girl(i already knew) and she was going to be just over 7pd(she was 7pd 4oz) and what time i was going to have her, which he said, around noon. (she was born 1105am) this was creepy cause all he said was true. he also told me a few other things i cant remember, but the only thing he didnt know was what day she would be born.

Id do a test if i were you. :)

We went out for a family lunch on dd1's 1st birthday. A lady stopped me as I was going to the ladies and said that I will be pregnant in 2mths time with a little boy. I looked at her as if she was crazy and completely shrugged it off.

2mths later when dd1 was 14mths old I found out I was 6 weeks pregnant, and yep it was a boy.

When I was UTD with DD an old Gypsy lady came knocking on my door selling handmae earrings. It was blistering hot and I couldn't understand a word she was saying but invited her in and gave her a drink of water. She patted my belly (I was about 6 months) and told me it was a girl. I would've assumed she'd seen some baby stuff lyng around but it was all packed away in another room.

Oh I totally forgot. We weren't ttc and my mil told dp at Christmas we'd be pregnant in march. We technically conceived in feb but found out in march.

i had a random stranger tell me that i was pregnant with a girl. she was right that i'm pregnant but the scan said boy :rolleyes:, i'm due in 2 weeks.

a friend of mine was in hospital in the waiting room when a creepy little old lady told her that she was going to have another child and it would be a girl. she was dead set sure that she would not have another child but it became a running joke between us. turns out she did have another child and it is a little girl :)

I don't have weird preggo stories, but a woman at the markets walked up to me when DD was 10 months old, completely out of the blue, and told me that DD and I are more attached to one another than anyone else she has come across, and she could separate us with some crystal healing thing...when I was ready. I mean, can you tell that just by looking at someone? Hmmmmmm.

My mum does it to me every time. I'm glad she's distracted at the moment with a new job and moving towns and dealing with family crap from my sister dying, to be honest! With DD we were keeping it secret and she blew it, lol.

When I was pregnant with DS I was 16, and she out of the blue started asking if I was having s*x, I was so embarrassed and kept saying no no no - she kept going on about putting me on the pill if I was, so to tell her, I kept saying no. Turned out I was already pregnant when this went on and that's why she was insistent.

With DD she just rang me one day and asked me if I was pregnant. She's called a few other times asking because she would say 'well someone is!' and they always were!

This time around, though, I don't think she'd ask like that either, after the m/c I had last year. I have sensed some hesitant umming and stuff on the phone which I keep thinking oh crap she knows - but she doesn't actually ask. No doubt when we do tell her she'll say she knew, but she won't want to upset me after the m/c.

DH's boss' sister works in a cafe, and their brother died in March suddenly aged 20. She was just working one day when a lady customer stopped her and just said I'm sooo sorry and you'll think I'm mad, but you have a young man following you around, trying to play tricks on you, he's very mischevious! She described their brother to a tee - both physically and in personality, as well as roughly how long he'd been dead.

These things do happen though. I knew what day my sister would die - so did my step father. My mum was meant to move on the friday and wanted to organise removalists for that day - he was adamant she NOT do it and wait, he just kept saying you don't know what might be happening friday - just leave it... and sure enough come 5am that Friday morning we all got the call. I had a less obvious thing though, I woke up at 4:30am every day that week with a start, she died at 4:30am. And that night I wanted to get to sleep at a normal time so I took some phenergan - as soon as I swallowed it, I just went ohhhhhhh S***T!!!!!! I'll have to wake up early! Ohhhh noooooo...... and sure enough I did have to.

edit - I also made a joke in early january about her not dying on my birthday, please - someone did on my 16th and it's not fun. Anyway my birthday was the 2nd, she died on the morning of the 5th (feb). Bit too close for comfort there! (oh I didn't make the joke to HER! to hubby I mentioned it in a jokey way)

We are in the supermarket putting our items up and tghe lady behind us only had one thing so we asked if she would like to go ahead of us. This opened up the lines of comunication, she was saying how cute our kids were and mentioned that she was a clairvoyant and had met lots of Ella's that week. Convo fizzled our but I could feel her looking at me.

After a few minutes she turned to me and asked if we wanted more children. I said yes we would love one more (have been TTC for 30 odd weeks at that point) and she leaned over and told me I had nothing to worry about and it would happen much sooner than we excpect. As she walked off she said remember much sooner and gave me this knowing look lol.

Freaked me out, that was about two or three weeks ago and I am currently on CD 47, no AF but still getting negatives so not sure how correct this lady was/is or how soon 'soon' is :confused:

Although I remember seeinga thread on another forum about kids being psychic about pregnancies :yes: there were pages of stories of it happneing, kids acting weird when their mum was expecting, before mum even knew, and asking people about 'the baby' before anyone knew, etc. I don't think they're actually psychic, but that kids can sometimes smell hormones that we can't? maybe some adults can, too.

Along similiar lines... A guy at DH's work came up him one day and said "I had a dream that your wife had a baby.. and it was a girl".

Little did he know at that time that i'd only just found out I was pregnant (nobody knew).. and a recent scan has now said we're having a girl, which is remarkable because I was convinced that DH could only produce boys :D

i knew a friend was pregnant just before she tested, so that on the morning she tested, the first thing I said to her when i saw her at school was 'Well??' and gave her a knowing smile. I didn't know because i'm pyschic but because I had noticed subtle changes in her moods, and I happen to just put it all together in my head the day before i saw her....so somethings can be explained logically, but that's not as exciting as pyschic ability.

I definately think some people can 'feel' these kinds of things, but who knows if this lady really did or is a bit crazy! My sis POAS the morning of my wedding as she was TTC (AF due a week later) and it came up negative. A friend of mine quietly asked her if she was pregnant at the wedding (my sis had a glass of wine in her hands at the time. She said no of course, but my friend said was she sure as she just got this feeling she was pregnant (I didn't even know my sis was TTC, friend def didn't know). I did a test when AF was 3-4 days late and it came up negative. I went out that night with my girlfriends and had a few drinks and ended up in tears at the end of the night because I was tired and wanted to go home. My best friend and her sister (sis was pregnant at the time) both agreed that I was UTD. I did another test a few days later and turns out I was :yes::D

hey everyone well here i am a couple of weeks after my 1st post and i have new news..... well after the initial test came back negative i today retested with my 2 left over tests and both are positve the lady wasn't crazy after all :hissy: the first test i did i forgot about it till 15-20 mins after i did it and when i checked it had two very dark lines and i kept thinking to myself evap lines so i retested a few hours later and checked less than 5 minutes later and sure enough another positive test came up both being positive so guess i will be putting things on hold and possibly joining the baby threads aarhhh such bad timing :gloomy: well bought vitamins this morning booked appointment for doctors next week and going to change my gym workout plans to suit bubs and lets hope i have a healthy happy pregnancy:fingerscrossed: i hope i can feel happy and excited soon about it all :(

after i have worked things out i'm roughly 6 weeks yet like no symtoms i threw up once the other night after eating something bad and my weight is gaining a tiny bit but that's it. i;m still surprised we were so careful and cautious so bub wasnt willing to wait.

Hahahaha yeah, and when i have been asked how i found out i was pregnant i have to reply some crazy lady told me lol told my doctor that yesterday when he asked me what made me think i was pregnant and told him about the crazy lady he laughed and was shocked, but i have since done 3 hpt 1 negative (night of the crazy lady) and then a week later that were 2 positives then went to the doctors yesterday and sure enough 3rd time lucky again, she really was able to tell. scary and also if she is right again i'm having a girl :D i want a girl and think i am having a girl so :fingerscrossed: .
