What'd you take for granted?

Was just reading some of the other threads about terrorist scares and stuff..and it got me thinking about how things have changed.

Whatd u take for granted b4 sept 11?

For me feeling safe on public transport was a big one!

Live TV...it wasn't until that day that I realised how advanced we'd become that I was able to see the second plane while it was actually hitting the second tower, the look on the reporters face, spoke 1000 words...very heartbreaking day:thumbsdown:

Like Chellegoth, nothing really changed for me!

I guess it made me appreciate the time I have with my family more, but I dont NOT go places because I'm scared. I'm not scared of them....I fear for my family but I try to think that each day we have is precious and we should appreciate it no matter what! :yes:

I feel that if I start living my life differently because of these terrorist attacks that it is letting them win!!!! I'd sooner live my life to the full, enjoy every day I have, and live in the knowledge that if they decided to attack there isnt much I can do about it.
