Hi All,
Just wondering if anyone else has a child that has/had a tethered spinal cord (attached at the bottom of the spine and it shouldn't be).
My DD is nearly 4 and it has been monitored since birth but she now needs to have the operation to untether it - in a week and a half!!
Is there anyone out there in Bub Hub Land who has a child that has had the operation?? Would love to hear how the recovery went and how long I can really expect it to be. Hospital advises recovery will take a 'few' weeks... and could not define how long a 'few' weeks could actually be... week or months possibly...
