So I have a question. With hunter I had him naturally with no pain relief an i was induced.
With the twins I went into labour naturally and had an epi administered 2 hrs into labour. It was a very rapid labour at only 5.22 hrs and also had to wait 1 hr before pushing to wait for the head ob.
So my questions is did ur twin contractions hurt more then ur singleton? My twin contractions were on top of each other and they were a million times worse then my induced singleton. What is ur experiences?

DD1 - natural labour at 36weeks (I had PE), gas and pethadine (pethadine was a waste of time!) and contractions were horrid. My waters had broken at home in a big gush, then leaked out all the way to the hospy, so it was pretty dry. I ended up with a small cervical lip that the m/w held back (OMFG that hurt) for 2 contractions because DD's head kept bashing at it making it swell, and making me want to push all the time. Ended up with a ventouse delivery right at the end as I was stuffed and had stopped pushing. I wanted it to be over. 7hr 15min labour (called established labour 2hrs after waters broke)
DS1 - induced labour via ARM only at 36weeks. Had PE again, DS's heartrate wasn't good and placenta starting to fail. Contractions started after waters broke, 2hr labour with gas only. Didn't hurt as much as DD1 (until his head came out anyway - that was worse!)
Twins - waters broke slowly at home, 1.5hrs later DD1 was born, then 20mins later DS (roughly), no pain relief. Contractions were MUCH easier for me, birth of DD2 - easy as, DS2 similar to that of DS1. I have no idea if the labour was easier because I used some calm birth stuff (not full-on, but deep breathing, going with the contractions, not fighting them etc)
DD2 wasn't waiting for anyone - she came out via involuntary pushing, I just kinda helped a little at the end. My OB arrived about 15mins after DS2 was born.
I've birthed 4 singletons and my twins naturally. With the exception of #1 where my waters broke first and the contractions hurt from the beginning, my contractions didn't really start hurting til just before transition, twins included. I had epidurals with #2 (who was posterior, horrible time pushing!) and the twins. I didn't find much difference between the twins and the singletons, but then again my twins were #5 labour and they can get easier when you have that many labours.
