Photo Challenge - Flowers

Hey everyone, Sharoo and I tied for the lead and she was kind enough to let me pick the next theme, so i thought "Flowers" Would be a good one.

Entries will close on the 18th (9pm) and I will put the voting thread up after that and it will close on the 22nd. I hope that is ok. :)

Lovely photos everyone! I'm going out tomorrow for a dawn shoot at a wetland, hopefully I'll find some flowers there given my garden is now barren. Failing that, I'll go buy some more liliums :D

Mumtoethan - I like the second pic, while it's still a bud.

OK, I do like this one,but i have MILLIONS of pics of flowers, they are my favorite subject, but I dont have the time to go thru them all....unless we extend the time of this comp for about a month :)

Maybe if a week or so passes without the winner starting a new comp we can pass it down to 2nd place to post one to keep it going?
