i am a 19 year old mum of 2!
i was 15 when i had my son and only breastfed for a few weeks! i was so engorged, my nipples were bleeding from bad attachment (my breasts were too big for his little mouth). i also have a very fast letdown which made him choke everytime he tried to feed!
the midwives said i should have had twins because of the amount of milk i was producing!
i still feel guilty about not feeding him longer!

i had my daughter 10 months ago and i succeeded with breastfeeding this time around...YIPPEE!! she still loves her titty! i will miss feeding her when she is too big for it!
i still had the same problems as with my son but this time i just gritted my teeth and bared it!
i also used nipple shields and Marcalan (lanolin ointment) to help treat the cracks! it was a lifesaver!!! i wish i had had these with my son!
