breastfeeding and down regulation cycle

I am considering cycling again and am still breastfeeding my 8 month old my fs told me I need to completely wean him as your lining doesnt always thicken to good while bf

Anyone else had this advise or similar?

I know when I go back for a medicated FET I will have to stop BFing 2mths prior as BFing can mess with your hormones etc and not make the ideal situation for implantation.
