Hi. We are having a Naming ceremony for our DD to coincide with her 1st birthday. Just wondering if anyone had any recommendations for a celebrant on the northside of Brisbane. I have been doing a fair bit of googling and have a few ideas but now need a celebrant who will help us make the day extra special for our little one. Thanks.

Hi
I am sure you have found someone by now but I am a celebrant who does baby namings on the north side of brisbane. I do bespoke ceremonies so you, your baby and I sit down together and we talk about what you like and what you want for bub's future and how you'd like your family and friends to interact with her in the ceremony and then I do you a complete ceremony to your exact requirements - including little rituals to help involve whomever you want or to create a meaningful keepsake. My name is Dana Flannery - you can google me (Bub Hub doesn't allow links)

Thanks Dana. I'll have a look. Hubby is now thinking of us doing it ourselves (he watched packed to the Rafters the other nite) but I'm not too sure - has anyone got any thought on naming ceremonies done without a celebrant??

Hi Ciresmummy, I am hoping to have an informal naming ceremony for our DD and was wondering how you went with your ceremony? Do you have any suggestions?
