Hello girls

My BBT is low before O then gradually starts to rise around O but doesnt reach its high temp until 3 or 4 days after O. All I read about is what BBT should do but not about what it means if it doesnt follow the usual pattern. Always by the time it has risen I have no symptoms of O. What do you think it means? Like should I ignore this pattern and just go by CM? Does it mean I have O'd as there is always a rise but never a dip first? BTW I read in a book that most O happens between 4pm and 7pm on day of O, has anyone else heard of this and why is this the case?
Thanks

you dont neccessarily have to have a dip on the day of o as long as it rises and stays up after you o, that confirms that you have. Go by CM to determine that day you think you o, and bd around that time :fingerscrossed:

Smitten - your chart sounds extremely normal and usual. Your temp should not rise until after O, so by the time your temps are going up, you shouldn't normally have any other symptoms of O left. That's why its not usually useful to use BBT to help determine when to BD - because by the time you see your temp rise, its all over. Most people don't get a dip on O day.
