Saw this from a friend at facebook. It's an article about a journo in Sydney who says motherhood is easy and that we should all stop whining. Check it out at www.wangle.com.au/motherhood-is-a-cinch (http://www.wangle.com.au/motherhood-is-a-cinch). The other journo is saying she has no right to be so smug, as this is her 1st child and she is only 9 months into it. I would love to see her handle my toddler's tantrums and hissy fits, and then say it's easy. I also feel it is degrading to many woman who suffer from PND.

Google it. There are several blogs that link to the relevant "news" item.

All I can say is that sleep deprivation is the worst form of torture. This woman obviously hasn't had a baby wake every 45 mins, with reflux. Screaming for 2 hours and then falling back to sleep for another 45 mins.
The author admits that she only has one (healthy) young child and she didn't experience PND. I don't know why people are getting so angry over this article. She is just telling her story of motherhood so far.

That's what I meant catch22, OP has little respect for this woman's experience. My post read wrong. Can't see what all the fuss is about...its HER experience that she wanted to share.
