TWW question (poss TMI!)

Hi there everyone,
DH and i decided to TCC #2 a few weeks ago. I hadnt been charting at all and really dont know for sure what my cycle has been doing the past few months. However, CM was slippery on day of the act! I would guess i would be due around wed-fri for AF. I have had some strange things happening but there is also a virus going around so that makes it more confusing. I have had nights of falling asleep at 8pm, dizziness, nausea really badly fri night but only twangs since then. Cramping, intestinal cramping, and blood nose. However today i have noticed cramping very much like period pain and have some mucus with spotting through it. I was sure i had that "gut" feeling I was preg (it took a year almost to fall preg with DS) but now an thinking it looks like AF is on the way... what are your thoughts esp about the spotting today.

your best bet is to mark on calander af start and go from there if your not sure good luck with ttc

sounds interesting, how many days since you think you may have ovulated?

I am pretty sure (based on CM) that i ovulated on Thurs 17th...

oh ok so youd only be 4 DPO, try to hold of testing for another 10 days at least :fingerscrossed:

oops silly me sorry! i meant to say ovulated on 10th (at least the signs pointed to that!)

oh well in that case you could try an early detection test, fortel from the supermarket should be ok, it may show up now, or else you may need to wait a few days. How long are your cycles normally?

well i am not entirely sure!!! but i think from memory 31-34 days

last period started early hours of sun 23rd july

well you could be ok to test already, but keeping in mind it could be still too early :fingerscrossed: when do you plan to test? if you go get some today try to find a two or three pack (first response are good) just in case you need to test again in a few days.

thanks. i think i will hold off til thurs or fri - it took us ages to fall with DS and i recall that feeling with a BFN so i am in no rush to do the test!! however its all i can seem to think about today!

Implantation bleeding can be slight pink or brown spotting usually lasting for 1 to 3 days. This happens around the time af would be expected or a few days before. Could be this, but wait to miss and then take a test. If it is IB then it may be to soon still.:fingerscrossed:

thanks. i am forcing myself to hold off until at least friday before i test. i think it would be hilarious if i am preg as it took almost a year with DS and this is the first try this time around.
