for the last 2 days DD has been starting to get the hang of her daytime sleeps, crying less, settling quicker and resettling sometimes. Shes always been a great night time sleeper, dreamfeed at 1030, wakes between 3-4, and then between 530-7 (i resettle her till 7am if shewakes earlier. but last night she woke at 10pm, 1130pm, 230pm, 330 (for a feed, back to bed at 430) to wake at 530, 6, 615 and 645. night before she woke at 930, 3, 5 and 7. Has anyone else experienced such a change in night time sleep habits on tizzys routine??? i havent changed anything, eg her feed amounts, blankets on her bed, bedtime routine or anything. wondering why shes waking more frequently???

She could be having a growth spurt. Maybe she needs more frequent feeds overnight at the moment. Do you BF or FF?

I formula feed. I always put 210mls of formula in each bottle (she gets 6 in a 24hr period) and let her drink as much or as little as she wants. She never drinks more then 200ml but sometimes she'll have as little as 80ml (usually at her 3am feed). Yesterday she was consistantly drinking about 160ml.

Hmmm, not sure then!
Babies are not exactly creatures of habit though, I find that I just get used to bub's routine and then she changes everything! We're not using Tizzy Hall though, so can't help much there.
Could your bub be cold? My dd has started waking more at night and she is on tizzies' routines too. And I think it's cos the last 2 nights were really cold so I'm putting the heat on all night tonight, hang the expense!

Weve got the heater on all day/night, set at 20 degrees. She usually has 2 blankets on at night time (she gets doubled rapped because shes a little escape artist, 1st rap is very thin flannel and 2nd rap is a thicker cotton, which is why i only put two blankets on top) but after her first restless night i thought she may be cold so put another blanket on, but had a 2nd even more restless night. I know shes not too hot because she sleeps soundly with one blanket on all day and it is much colder of a night in her room then during the day (her bedroom comes off the loungeroom which is where the heater is)

when i say she sleeps soundly of a day, i mean she doesnt wake in the middle of a sleep cycle, only between them sometimes
Bugger :( have you tried a sleeping bag? Maybe she's over being wrapped? Clutching at straws now...

Its ok! false alarm! last night bub sleept from 7pm to 515am! :D (with a dream feed at 1030 like usual, but that was still her longest sleep ever) I woke at 1am, 2am, 3am, 4am and 5am though, wondering what on earth was going on  Guess she was just getting herself sorted since her sleeps have been all over the place since day one. Day time sleeps have dramatically improved too. Guess sticking to the routine really does work (eventually)

hey there,
We're on Tizzie here. Not strict but 1/2 hour here or there.. My DD is a month older than ur little one and i can say ur routine sounds alot like mine did about a month ago.. My little one went thru a growth spurt a few weeks back waking for a feed from 3.30 - 5am.. But now she sleeps right thru waking at 7-8am.. She still has nights where she'll wake up so i'll feed, but most times its a poop, burp, or she's cold..
Keep at it sound like ur doing great
