I it only for public servents? Are teachers publice servents? What about childcare workers?
Wont this stop breastfeeding mothers from being employed? Can the employer simply say they dont have the money to build a room for them to express or feed in, therefor cant employ the mother? :detective:

I guess working for Ed Qld, maybe not for other schools, and not childcare workers I wouldn't imagine. They are privately run so have different rules. It's a much needed start though.

The way I understand it this only covers public servants and private companies etc are free to follow suit if they wish, so it really shouldn't affect employment numbers - interesting to see if it does.
Like Miss_N said, I'm interested to know who is included under the title "public servants". Does this include state school teachers?
I'm assuming I'm a publc servent as I work for Ed qld. I'm going to do some supply before I got back ft though, wonder if I'm covered? Or as London said, perhaps they won't call me in if I request the lactation break (even though I really need it atm) hmmm
