No live to far away now.

When I lived in Sydney many years ago, I used to love doing the city 2 surf.
I used to be a walker in the pack of the back group. I wasn't much of a runner I used to love going for the atmosphere, fun and proving to myself I could walk 14km.
Hated heartbreak hill and loved seeing the finish line as you run down to bondi beach.

They telecast here in Qld and I always watch it.

Roopee- maybe you can come along with us next year. :) I am thinking of taking DS next year- he'll be 5!!! I think I started when I was 5 so should be interesting!

Lolly Legs! ARGH to Heartbreak Hill. Only good thing about that hill is the knowledge of the fact that you are Half way!!! :laughing: I'm usually a runner but haven't done it in a couple of years so am now starting off in the Back of the Pack group and hopefully will move up next year.

I watched it on tele this morning. Have to say it was a pretty close race for the winners.

Loved watching the legends start, 39 people who have done every city 2 surf for the last 40 years.
