Nick Robson, student at Uni of Queensland, is studying the relationship between parenting skills, emotion regulation, social support, and stress in the use of corporal punishment.

Information from parents will be used to improve programs designed to support parents who are under stres and require assistance with their parenting. The information you provide will be extremely useful in determining the priorities of parenting programs.

We are keen for all parents with children two to ten years of age to complete the survey so that we have information on the different eperinces of a wide range of parents.

This study rquires some time commitment (about 30-40 minutes) - so have a cup of coffee ready!

Eligible participants are parents who have a child within the ages of two to ten years old.

Please note that your participation in this research project is completely voluntary, and your anonymity and the confidentiality of your results will be maintained at all times. (We do not ask you for any identifying information, such as your name, email address or other information that could identify you).

Thanks heaps for spending the time. We really will be having a close look at what parents tell us. Although it takes a while, the information we get is very helpful. We are using all the information. We are aware it takes a while, but if we shorten the survey we won't have the information we need.

Thanks again,

Paul and Nick.
