Is this eczema??

My little one always had those miliamilk spot thingys on her face but now really tons of them and quite red and blotchy and dry around them on her cheeks and neck and top of chest...I not using any products on her face so really perplexed...she doesnt seems to be too fussed by it tho it just quite unsightly and very rough to touch...ps she is entirely breast fed...

My little matilda had the same but not on her face. We headed up to the doctors and he told me it was dermatitis . .which I knew since I have eczema and can spot it a mile away . .we got some cream that we put on when it gets bad and she itches at it. .my advice would be a doctors visit. .if its nothing at least you know ..

I can't honeslty say that it is eczema, as Damien's has only just in the last two weeks come onto this face, which my gp prescribed a stronger cream for.
Try some things like Alpha Kerri cream, (for dry skin) Always make sure it's mostiured. If that doesnt help, maybe see your gp

Get it checked out by a doctor. It's much easier to try to treat stuff if you know what it is first.

thanks guys - yeh I will go to doctor...jsut I was concerned they would laugh at me neurotic first mother and all...I have so far avoided docs too much and the only time i did go as she has a pea sized lump on back of head between head plates the doctor I saw made me feel very little and like I shouldnt waste their time...she couldnt tell me what it was though...just to keep an eye on it...like I know what I should be looking for...:banghead:
I did put a bit of Gaiai moisturiser on her at expo yesterday and though the rash didnt go the redness did...hmmm...
