Hi there!

I'm based in Perth and I would like to ask if there's anyone here who would know if there are any companies that install the baby car seats for you?

There was this company that sold prams who used to do it, but not anymore :(. Places like BabyZone check if it's installed properly but I'd rather have someone who specializes on it to do the installation. We're okay with following instructions from the booklet the car seat came with but with a precious cargo who'll be sitting on it, I would rather get someone professional to do it :D.

If anyone can refer a company that does the installation for you, I would love to hear from you!

Thank you!

Have a look at the RACW website, we found 2 in our area that could install with the safety check, or look at www.childcarrestraints.com.au

We had our car seat installation checked (& corrected!) at the KidsSafe WA Safety House. I'm not sure if that is the proper name of it, but it's at Godfrey House, Princess Margaret Hospital, Thomas Street, Subiaco. It was around $50. You can ring KidsSafe WA on 9340 8509 for details, or they may have a list of authorised installers and checkers.

When we were living there I also saw regular ads from the RAC that they were doing free car seat checks at various malls and locations around the city. So it would be worth calling to see if there will be one near you soon.

There are also two pram repair places that i think fit car seats also. One is Shawn's Pram Repairs in Bassendean, the other i think is Perth Pram Repairs, or somthing similar, in Osborne Park. But i did come up with a list of places on the internet. See www.childcarrestraints.com.au/fitters
Hope this helps. :)

The city of Stirling also do free car seat checks once a month.
