We found out we are pregnant with triplets but have also found out we have a set of momo (monchirionic monoamniotic) twins. Have been reading statistics on momos and I am feeling pretty down after reading the survival rate of 50-60%.

I am after stories of others that have got or had momo twins.

Congratulations on your pregnancy :)

I had MC/DA twins, so unfortunately I can't help you in that department, but if you enquire in the multiples section I'm sure there is bound to be at least one person who has had MOMO twins :D

Wishing you all the luck in the world with your three precious miracles :goodvibes:

Thanks I will go and find the multiples section.

Momo twins share the same sac and placenta. Thank you for the well wishes.

Congratulations, wishing you a healthy pregnancy.
Might be worth checking out the Australian Multiple Birth Association website, you will prebably find lots of info and support on there.

:) First of all congratulations on your pregnancy to triplets :yelclap:

I have just had twin boys 10 days ago that had one placenta and shared the same sac with only a thin membrane seperating them and i had no real problems but was monitored constantly which was a huge relief i had many ultrasounds which also helped and it was always good to see my little men.

So good luck i hope this has reasured you a little bit :flowerz:

hi, momo twins is a new word to me. I had identical twins, they shared the same placenta, I have no idea about sharing the one sac. I never had any scans, and I did not know I was having tiwns until they were born. They came at 37 weeks and were perfectly healthy, just cot rested for 24 hours, and not any problems. Good luck. Marie.
