Ok ive have an idea of a business. Im not advertising i just thought of this idea yesterday.
My ds has autism.

So my idea is having some type of playgroup setting with other children with autism but instead of being a playgroup setting i would have a class of say 4 kids and parent and each week we would have different activities.
Eg. One week sensory stuff with sand, cream and the next would be dressing skills.
I thought this would be good cause parents can develop friendships and so can the children.
Was also thinking having different classes with different disabilities.

So im after thoughts, suggestions, ideas, tips any feedback on this idea (not business side of things)
As this is an idea i think its great as i haven't come across this type before.

However i havent got any degrees ect im just a mun with a son with asd. Would this matter? However i am planning to do a course in applied behaviour analysis.

So yes feedback pls :)

You ma have better luck posting this in the parents of children with special needs section...they may be able to provide you with some more realistic perceptions than the general population

I think without any qualifications it's really just like playgroup for kids with specific needs, but that in itself is a great thing too, just not something you can make a lot of money from.

i agree with bada, without qualifications it is probably a playgroup, which is great!
something that is worth looking into though and perhaps taking a course? even if a business does not come of it.

I know my cousin finds it hard to keep her dd ocupied and stimulated during school holidays. she also finds she cant go to cafes. If i had lots of money to start a business, i would look into starting a disability friendly cafe.
