Hi All,

I've seen a few posts of students looking for a pregnant mum to do a follow through with as a part of their studies. None have been in the right area though... So here I am

- I'm 25, this my first pregnancy
- I live in Pascoe Vale (near coburg..kind of..)
- I'm booked into the Mercy Family Birthing Centre in Heidelberg
- I'm due in mid Feb, am 11 weeks now
- I live with my partner and my best friend
- I think at this stage I'd be happy for you to attend the birth, but of course this may change
- I'd like a student that is keen to be involved, learn and ask as many questions as they like, and hopefully be able to answer mine!
- I'm very excited, as is dad
- I'm a very open, frank person that doesn't take things too seriously, doesn't like a lot of plans but does like to be informed and generally prefers a smile and a laugh than too many serious convos!

So if anyone is interested please send me a personal message. I don't want you to feel like you're writing a job application but tell me about yourself... what you like to do on the weekend, where you grew up, the funniest thing you've learnt in your studies so far. I dunno just something so that I get to know you a little.

Looking forward to sharing my journey, laughs and tears!
Jess

Oh wow that so looks like a personal! :geek: I don't want a date just someone to look up my skirt! hehe:D

Hi Jess!
I'm not a student at all, just wanted to say that I'm also booked in at the FBC and am due around the start of Feb! This is my third child tho, just wanted to say that you'll love the FBC, I do! Enough to want to still go there even though we just moved to Bendigo! Hope all goes well with your birth!

Thanks Aleesha!
Nice to know you enjoyed it... Bendigo! You sure you're going to make it in time? lol

I now have a student midwife organised. But thanks to all the others for the lovely replies.
Highly recommend doing this for any other pregnant mummies.

Jess,
We did consider that! But considering my daughter took 14 hours and then my son took 15 hours, my husband said to me "I think we've got time"!! It would only be 1.5 hours without traffic and we've done it twice before so I think I'll just make sure I pack a 'side of the road' birthing kit! LOL
