So my ds 5.5 has been doing this thing of hiding places and scaring me lately, like jumping out and saying "rah!". The thing is I am jumpy at the best of times and have explained to him again and again that it's really not on, it's not a fun game, it makes mummy upset and sad etc etc.
Well tonight I sent him to the loo before bed, heard him go into his room so I followed to tuck him in. And he had hid behind his door and jumped out at me. I was so cross!!! I did the whole three names thing and told him I was very angry and tucked him in rather unceremoniously. Grrrr!! The thing is, I hate getting cross right before bed, just seems like the wrong note to part on.
Sigh.

Doesn't help I turn 30 tomorrow!! :(
