Hi everyone
This is my third pregnancy and each time my morning sickness (or all day and night sickness) has become increasingly worse. I was hospitalised last pregnancy with hyperemesis and am not even 7 weeks and this time and already really sick.
So today I got some accupressure bands. I think they are taking the edge off my nausea enough so I can stomach some food and therefore feel a little better.
I seem to get really sick in the middle of the night and am wondering if I can wear the bands 24/7?
The only thing is they are kind of hurting a little and leaving some good indents in my wrist so I'm sort of concerned.
Has anyone else worn them all day and night?
Thanks :)

I wouldn't leave them on overnite as you tend to swell so as they are already tight to give the pressure I would be very wary doing so ...
I used to try keeping them on for a few hours then 30mins off.
They didn't work for me sadly but hey they were worth a shot !!

I used to leave them on 24/7. It didn't stop it, but helped alot.
They did get tight sometimes and so then i'd leave them off for a few hours, and straight back on again!!

I agree with sheer bliss. On a bad day I had them on all the time! I was going through photos tonight, and it's amazing how many photos I am wearing the bands in;)

I wore them 24/7. If they started feeling tight I'd have a little break, or to shower, but apart from that they were on.
Some people I know had to take them off when they slept as their hand swelled at night if they didn't.

If you do wear them 24/7, don't forget to give them a quick wash every few days. I would do it in the shower, and then use the hair dryer to dry them off if I was leaving the house soon. It was GROSS how filthy they got!!!!

Thanks heaps guys! It's quite insane how quickly I start feeling sick after I take
them off. Good to know I can wear them pretty much all the time.
Thanks again

I would wear mine all the time. My sickness used to only hit me of a evening and I would never go a night without wearing them and if I did, I sure knew it.
I don't think they are a problem to wear all the time except they ache a little.
Hey, where do you get the accupressure bands from? I am 7wks and have tried everything to sway the contstant feeling of nausea.
It would be great if they eased this horrible feeling.
Thank you!

hey, the chemist sells them for $20. they are totally reusable and last forever. i had shocking MS this time round, couldnt keep food or water down, i got the bands and ive only had 2 spews since wearing them, and thats been when i forgot to put them on in the mornings.
they rock!!!
and to the OP, congrats again honey, hope you and the girls are well xox
After reading this post I rang my husband straight away and he bought some at a chemist on the way home from work last night.
Wow! They are so great. I still feel queasy but no where near as much and I actually want to face the day today.
Wish I had of known about these with my first pregnancy.
2Pink4Me: I wore them all night and didnt have any swelling although the pressure points are a bit sore, im dreading taking them off for a shower as I feel so much better than the past few weeks.
Thank you so much for making me aware of these bands!
