Hi everyone,
My DS2 has been working on getting his first tooth for the past few months. During this time he has still had generally decent day sleeps, and the odd wake up overnight.
During the last week , his day sleeps have deteriorated a lot, he is waking after 40mins and needing to be resettled. Whereas, he was having 2 sleeps of 1-1.5hrs.
I have tried putting him down a little later, giving pain relief etc. Has this happened to other bubs? I am hoping this means a tooth might not be too far off, I can feel it just under the gum.
Cheers,
Jacqui

My ds cut his first tooth yesterday and his already crappy day naps - three or four 40 min naps - sddenly became more crappy (fighting the urge to sleep, hating his cot, falling asleep in my arms).

I reckon it is because of the tooth. Have u rubbed his gum to see if it has come thru ?

Hey Jacqui! We have the same issue... DD's crappy day sleeps have gotten crappier. After she cut her first two teeth she went straight back to decent day sleeps and only one wake up. I think the top 2 are on their way and we're doing 4-6 wake ups a night + five 20 min naps during the day. Hopefully it'll be all back to normal again soon :o

I keep feeling his gum all the time, hoping it has come through! My DS1 was the same, teethed for months before they started sprouting at 10months. If he follows suit, I only have a month or so to go :fingerscrossed:. I wish I had one of those bubs who just get their teeth and you don't even know it .
