Hello everybody!
I'm fairly new here, but have been TTC for 2 years on and off. I'm fairly old (41) and the last time I was pregnant was 1992 (My baby will be 18 next month!)
I had day 3 Antral follie count and bloods (AMH, LH, and FSH) DH has yet to do his SA as he's overseas at the moment. (DH is an 'original' we've been together for 23years!)
The sonographer said I had two small fibroids but they weren't interfering with anything important and they were quite common in people my age:laughing: she also said that I had a good amount of follicles.
So, what should I be asking once the doc has given me his medical opinion on my fertility?
Also, I've been told that Clomid isn't such a great idea for older women as it can think the uterine lining and therefore reduce the chances of implantation. Can anyone tell me if this is true?
I have medical insurance, but I'm wondering if I need any further tests or procedures in order to progress with assisted fertility?
TIA to everyone!
