Hi! Just a small question- Ronan likes having an egg for breakfast with toast. Not scrambled or anything- just cracked into a non-stick pan and cooked both sides with just a little bit of the yolk still runny (not much though).

I know that egg's are a fab source of protien. And because Ronan doesn't stay still long enough to really each much at all during the day, I want what he does eat to be as good for him as possible.

Is this too much cholesterol for a two-year old? Is this harmful to my son's health?
I'm not up with the latest when it comes to some of these things, but I'm hoping that others out there have a better idea. :detective:

They had a thing on what's Good For You a few weeks ago about eggs and cholesterol. I think they were saying that they help lower your cholesterol, rather than adding to it. I'll see if I can find the link for you.

Thanks Jeanette! Fantastic link! Very interesting...
Well, I'll just keep on giving Ronan an egg with vegimite toast every morning! And as a bonus, it's something he actually eats! Although we had tantrums this morning about having to have it in the highchair in the kitchen, not while running all through the house :devil6: . But I stuck to my guns and won!
