:flowerz: Hi there - I have just joined the forum and had my first ET on Wednesday 21.07 my first BT is on 06/08.
Just wondering how everyone copes with the two week wait. I alos started the crinone on Wed and I am very teary hoping this is normal.
Also wondering if there are any Melbourne IVF members who are interested in catching up in either the city or Moonee Ponds area. Look forward to hearing from you.

Goodluck Rainbow, I hope you get your BFP.
I think there is a 2WW thread already.
I coped by keeping myself busy & being very kind to myself.

Hi Rainbow40

You might have to search a bit in the general IVF thread but there is a 2WW thread there - or start a new one! they often get started every couple of weeks.

There's also a thread called "Calling all Melbourne Girls" or something similar where you might find support from Melbourne IVF'ers.

Good luck staying sane during the 2WW. It's not something I have overly enjoyed in the past as I read too much into everything happening to my body. Lochie's right - be kind to yourself but behave as if you are pregnant in terms of cutting out certain foods and drinks and avoid overheating.

Thanks Sonya and Lochie good advice. Just wondering what you mean by avoiding overheating.

you have to avoid getting your body temp over a certain temperature, sorry not sure what it is but for that reason if you're pregnant you should avoid spas, hot tubs etc.

Rainbow - I acted as though i was preggers in my TWW and i also told myself i was (power of positive thinking) so no baths at all, just showers...are you eating kiwi fruit. If you don't already know apparently eating one kiwi fruit per day helps with implantation, i think all of us girls in the over 35 preggers thread ate kiwi fruit (hence we all got pregnant)......and like the girls said, be kind to yourself and try to enjoy it if you can.
Good luck.
