working on the run - iphone??

Hi Everyone
I work at home and have decided its high time to upgrade my mobile to make working on the run easier. So I am after some opinions on the iphone and the best plans available and also does anyone have a suggestion on an equivalent alternative and its plan.

Any help would be great I really need to upgrade my 3yo threw my phone in the bin and now I can hardly hear it ring or hear anyone on the other end.

I have been looking at the Iphone for a while, I don't know how much you want it but at the time I was looking for an unlimited plan and I found that 3 (not that I normally would support 3) but they had a good unlimited plan about $115 or $125 or something and it also included 1300 numbers:yelclap:, which is something that most phone plans don't include. I tend to call my bank (as well as other places a lot like that) and spend a lot on 1300 numbers. Its also included data but I forget how much.

The other places I check were Virgin, I think they have some kind of $99 plan but it doesn't include 1300 number :no: but beside that I do like them.

Can't remember who else I checked... it was a couple of months ago now. I think Telstra are starting some new plan with the Iphone (whatever the new one is called) and Optus probably have something almost the same but a tiny bit cheaper.

I love love LOVE my iPhone - couldn't be without it! I work from home 3 days/week, & at another job 2days/week.

I am on a $75 virgin plan, and have never got close to going over the cap. That said though, I do a lot of my Internet surfing through our home wifi.

DH is off tomorrow morning to get his 3rd one :)

Dp is on the biggest plan at optus. $100 a month but it's unlimited everything!

I love how u can use wifi, I do at home so much easier then the computer

I adore my Iphone.
Vodafone have an unlimited plan for $99 which is fantastic for work. They have some other lower plans too.
DF uses his for work and would be lost without it. He has alot of usefull apps for work also. Good luck.

Hi I have an iphone and I LOVE it!!!! I have my own home business so it is great when i am out and about because I still get all my emails so if I need to reply to someone I can. Also I can do work from anywhere which is good if i am at the park or fun centre etc with my little boy I can work from there too. Get one you won't know yourself. cheers Pippa:)

unlimited business plan $120 a month Telstra and u get soooooo much net time and soooooo much free I lub my iPhone

Hi Everyone, thanks for all the replies I really appreciate it. I am glad to hear most saying they never go over their data limit and the consensus seems to be to have wifi at home. My sister also told me that when your out and about it will tryand connect to a surrounding wifi before using your own network. So thats good too. Smart phone!
