Its my sons 5th birthday in two weeks and hes invited 25 kids. I am now planning the food? Should I do a great amount or are the kids likely to just pick? Also do I cater for the adults too?

So far I am doing, Sammies, fruit kebabs, veges and dips, chips, mini muffins, sausage rolls and party pies.

Any other ideas would be great.

Little Boys (easy to cook- all in a big pot), honey joys.

I tend to just cook enough for adults to pick at as well and leave it at that. :)

Have fun!

maybe some sandwich fingers? Just some cheese or vegemite or something simple?

i like to do some nice biscuits and coffee's for the mums to have.

Go and get the Donna Hay magazine for kids. It has some really great ideas in there!

for my sons 4th birthday i was so lucky my sister made most of the food. a good idea i thought was mini hot dogs with cocktail frankfurts, and she just got packets of the woolworths dinner rolls. they looked so good. she got a pack of toothpicks with little flags on them from spotlight and stuck one in each. the kids loved them

other then that cant go wrong with dips vegetable sticks, biscuts.

we had way to much food. so much got wasted.
