View Full Version : Gender swaying for baby girl..
Well I'm happily pregnant with #3 which is another little man.
My DH and I have decided that #4 will be our last once we get there LOL! and I thought it would be best to start researching now so I can guage the best method for us to try in order to sway for a girl. So has anyone every purchased a book about gender swaying or reseached information that indeed allowed them to successfully produce a baby girl.
Has anyone used any of the following..
book called - Prince or Princess
book and program - natural gender selection
book - how to pick your baby's gender
book - how to choose the gender of your baby
Just getting some handy info for the next and last bub which will hopefully be a girl.
Thanks
I have been looking into it as we are TTC number 3 and trying to gender sway to get a girl too. There's some info out there if you go digging. I have found out a few things about gender swaying and what i do know is that it's pretty time consuming and kinda takes the whole fun out of TTC, but if it gets you the desired result i'm sure it will all be worth it. Goodluck on your research and i hope you get your girl for number 4. My cousin was able to get a boy for her 4th baby after 3 girls, so it gives me hope that it can happen :D
there are so many books and sites out there and they all essentially say the same thing (BD timing, ph testing, diets, supplements, sexual positions etc). we did it all to a T and we still got a little blue. I'm due with him in the next 5 weeks....we are also discussing #4 but we will give that a couple of years to see how we go with 3 first

I did the dairy diet. (hate dairy so was a big deal) we are now definately having a little girl next week. She will be the first girl on DHs side in 6 generations (including cousins etc) I know 4 other couples that succeeded with having s girl this way too. But I also know 1 who didn't. I think it comes down to when you DTD aswell. Also they say shallow penetration and deep penetration makes s big difference on the gender as the make sperm is faster but weaker and the female sperm is slower but stronger. Sorry if tmi good luck!!! And congrats on your 3rd boy!! We won't 3 kiddies and I hope our next 1 is a boy only cause my ds is so much fun and I don't know what it's like to have a girl yet lol

Sorry terrible spelling. I phone keeps changing my worlds etc
Thanks for the ideas!!
V8 - Taking the fun out of trying will be worth it LOL!
Poschgem - What is the dairy diet? I'm not a big dairy fan either but will give it a go
1+1=5 - I remember in another thread you telling me that you were having another boy, I didn't realise you swayed. So we're in the same boat LOL! I didn't sway but will have #3 boy in Dec
Any other ideas people?
I'm definetely going to purchase one of the books but unsure which one yet.. I'm going to give myself the best shot possible and what will be will be and it's good to be researching this early so I can see what I'm up against LOL!

Muls - I don't know if there's a whole lot of truth in any of those methods but I can give you my own anecdata :)
I had two sons first. Both conceived right on ovulation. My daughter was conceived (kinda unplanned :o but much wanted) on day 6 of my cycle so waaayy before ovulation. My kids definitely fit into the timing method. Worth a try I guess!

Oh, and I once read that women who skip breakfast are more likely to have boys. That was sure true of me. I was working fulltime when I got pregnant with my sons and I never ate breakfast. I was a SAHM when I got pregnant with my DD and ate breakfast every day!
yep, we swayed like crazy! I guess we will know 100% sure in the next 5 weeks...I keep telling myself the sonogapher could have been wrong :o
we did:
Ph testing (CM not urine)
dairy diet
calcium and magnesium supplements
DTD 4 days before O
low penetration, no orgasm
i always eat breakfast ;)

Hi Muls,
I will be looking at swaying for a girl next year, and came across the a-gender web site. It's Australian, but I haven't come across anyone who has used it.
I would be interested to know if it works.
But I think I will be buying the Shettles book, and trying the dairy diet. All you can do is try, and hope for a happy and healthy baby.

We are trying for a little girls and have done HEAPS of research. I actually found the website ingender fabulous. There are lots of Aussie girls on it. Best of luck in TTC your little princess in the future :smiliedance:
Mummabear - I've been looking on there and It looks great but I'm unsure of where exactly to look to get the right info LOL! I'll have to have a search through there again.

Hi Muls,
Have a look at a-gender.com.au
that has some really good stuff too.
I also found ingender slightly confusing.:)
That site is great Nuckysmum!!
I thought it just looked like a sale site but silly me hadn't seen that it has forums etc as well.
Will definetely look into that site more.
I'll definetly be purchasing one of the books I had in my first post and just guaging some info for later and then work out what I'll do from there. Thanks for that
Hi ladies,
I so hope you all get what your heart desires. My sister had her 3rd boy just before I had my first girl and my sister in law had her 4th boy just after I had my second girl. They both so desperately wanted a little girl and both have decided not to go again. Being on that side, I have felt so guilty and sad that only months apart I got what they wanted. I know my sister had major gender disappointment so she found out at the 20 week scan to come to terms with another boy. I know she wouldn't change her little man, but she was so upset.
I do have 2 girls and am happy to share with you what we did.
We always did the deed at night with hubby on top. Hubby wears briefs morning and night. We started trying on day 8 and went every 2 days until day 16. My cycle is pretty accurate at 27 to 29 days. I am more a savoury eater but hubby is sweet. I have had restless legs with both pregnancies which I now know is low magnesium. I am not sure if any of this had anything to do with it, but these are the things I remember.
Wishing you all baby girl healthy dust. I so believe that with just one pregnancy everyone got to choose the sex.
If you have any questions, I am more than happy to share my experience.
Good luck
Jackie
jacknjeff -so were you purposely trying for girls? If so yep your info would be fantastic thanks!!
