Just a query re ovulation. Fertility friend seems to think that I ovulate around CD 10 (it has picked that as the date in 3 cycles) but my cycles last for 41-43 days. Could I be ovulating that early in a long cycle? I thought that I've read that your luteal phase should be approx 14 days can it be 30+ days or is FF just confused?

that does seem like a rather long luteal phase :detective: it could just be FF tho, i dont think its completely perfect.
Do other signs add up with oing that early?

I've never had luck with OPK's but maybe baby seems to fern about that time and CM gets watery. I don't think I have eggwhite cm but I'm not the best at checking it. I'm not even sure that I am ovulating so I'm having a blood test this cycle.

This cycle I think my temps rose because I've had some strange viral thing (I think) I've been feeling :barf: since Monday. So I'm not really believing FF that I've ovulated. I hope I haven't too as we didn't BD until 1 DPO according to FF:(

FF has changed its mind today and says I haven't O'd. It did this last cycle too, its just confusing that it thinks I O around CD10 each cycle until proved otherwise:thumbsdown:

I had the same thing happen to me with FF last month. I had a coverline but then FF took it away because my temps were not consistent - I think I had an anovulatory cycle. Like you I am having a 21 day blood test this cycle to check whether I am ovulating. According to FF last month was the only one I didn't O so far. I think FF is fairly accurate - but definitely not fool proof. I hope that you get your answer soon ... and a BFP :fingerscrossed:

Hi Tom's mum

I'm definitely no chart expert but in your last cycle, there does seem to be a thermal shift evident after CD35. There are lots of temps missing around that time and you CM doesn't correlate that but you are right and your luteal phase should be around 9-16 days long. So, if I was a betting person, I would put you at oing around CD35. :fingerscrossed: for you.
