Hi everyone

I am new to forums but have found reading them so helpful. I am 30 years old, my husband and I have been trying to have a baby for two years.

I have had all the usual tests through my doctor and have been seeing Hollywood Hospital, I am going for HSG test for blocked tubes this friday.

I have found it extremely hard, with the question constantly being asked - when are you going to hurry up and have a baby? and the usual heart breaking comments, I am very sensitive about it all.

I have only just recently opened up to a couple of my girlfriends, I have been miserable and actually had a bit of a break down - which I think I needed as now I am feeling a lot better and more positive, ready to be a mum what ever it takes :fingerscrossed::angel: hence my username!

Any advice you can give me would be greatly appreciated.

xx

Hi Mum to be
I'm new here too.
TTC is such a rollercoaster and although friends and family mean well unless they have been through it they can't understand how your feeling. The only advice I can give you is keep the communication between you and your partner open, you need each other to lean on and cry to.
We've been trying for our second child for 6 1/2 years now, I have spent the last 2 1/2 years going through the necessary steps at King Edward Memorial Hospital, (the public health system moves very slow) I've just had my first iui on sunday so now i play the waiting game :fingerscrossed:

I hope all went well with your HSG test :)
