towns around ski areas???

Im just after a few town names in and around any of the ski areas in vic..... just day dreaming about a seachange and would love to live nearby ski fields, but need somewhere with some job options for DF...... any ideas?

Depends on what your DP does i suppose.

I know there's been a pretty big push by the State Government to get people to move to regional Victoria, so maybe have a look at the Vic govt. website to see what sort of jobs are available where?

Mansfield is the closest town i can think of near Mt Buller, and Bright is close to Mt Hotham. Both are pretty tiny. Seymour near Buller is bigger (I think) and Benalla near Hotham is bigger, i suppose it depends on how close vs bigger town.

Just ahve to say... I LOVE Bright, it's my favourite place in Victoria by far.
So beautiful.
Alot of people travel to Wangarratta for work from Bright.

Mansfield is beautiful. We used to go skiing at Mt Buller as a child and would always stay at Mansfield for a day first. Good Luck with your seachange.

Myrtleford is another one near Mt Buffalo/Hotham or Mt Beauty, which is near Falls Creek. Even Corryong

Wangaratta is around an hour and a halfs drive from Falls Creek. It's a small country town without being tiny.
