anyone trying ttc but can't keep up with the other Threads?

DP and I are TTC baby number #2, it would be really great to fall august or september but things are not looking so great.
I had an impanon implant in and the doctor recommended getting it out the month i wanted to fall but after speaking to a few people on here they told me to get it out sooner so i can work out my cycle. so now i have had it out just over a month and still no period!! im really started to stress because i have read on here that some women didnt get it for over a year!!
oh i really home it comes soon :(

anyone else ttc but cant keep up with the other threads :o

hi hun i have heard alot of ppl on here have had issues after the implanon. After having mine in for 9/10 months (and having no period wat-so-ever in that time) i went off it roughly about 18months ago and my period spotted the first month and then went back to my normal 28 day cycles. Before i had the implanon i had been on the pill for 3 years (dont know if that mattered or not) i think it's just different for everyone. All u can do is wait and see i guess but i was told that my cycle would go back to normal basically straight away by my dr and it did. FX ur's does too :)

yeah i was told my cycle would come back right away too. tried calling the hospital today but had no luck.
hopefully it comes so because i want another baby so bad it makes me feel sick!

how are you going with ttc?

well this is only our first month of ttc and so far have been very overwhelmed with all there is to learn and the amount of time it can take and that it doesn happen as fast as the Health teachers in skl make it out to be lol :p so far for me AF is running a bit late so am trying not to get my hopes up too high :rolleyes:

haha yeah from what i gathered from school you just had to kiss to get pregnant :)

oh well i guess i got the implanon out 5 weeks ago and we have been hoping to fall, so i guess that counts as ttc.
i just wish i knew if i was ovulating or not!

We are starting in a few weeks :) I seem to only notice the testing threads after 200+ post lol
We are going for number two. Dd is 1 in august. I have pcos and it took us over 6 years to fall pregnant with dd so hoping it's faster this time.
Ym89 it's possible you already fell befor you had a chance to get af back

I spent 6 years ttc number 1 - but dd is here now she us almost 1

Yeah i thought that too. I did a test about 2 weeks ago and it came up negative.. i need to go to the shops today so i might pick up and do another today. i would be so wonderful if i was!! but will not get my hopes up!

lisamd i hope this time around is much quicker for you! my DD is 15 months.
