That's brilliant and explains voting so simply. I try to explain this to people at every election and it makes me so frustrated. Good for the Greens.

I hope plenty of people see this.

I keep trying to tell MIL that you can make your own preferences, not just let the party you vote "1" for make that decision for you... but she never believes me.

I think she thinks she knows more about it all that she actually does - she's the kind to watch Today Tonight and believe everything on it, and get chain letters about asylum seekers being given huge pensions while our old-age pensioners get a pittance.

Sadly, I do think even if I directed her to this page, she'd not believe me - she'd just think the Greens were making stuff up to appease the crazy hippies (like me):rolleyes:.
