which camera should we buy

I have a 7 year old boy and 5 year old girl. we are going to england to for a wedding after christmas. we were thinking of getting our children a camera each so they can take photo's of our holiday. would you buy the kids vetch camera or just a normal digital camera. if your given cameras as gifts what sort of camera was it and what age was the child, was it worth the buy.

my 5yo dd has the vetch camera nanny brought for her. Its absolutely awesome my youngest get it throw it around hasnt broken yet. It also has games on it my daughters worked out how to play :D stores a lot of photos im not actually sure how many it holds as i havent down loaded them yet .... might do that tonight
