Noooooooooo............they scare the bejeezus out of me. I'll stick to my gas, hot bath and relaxation breathing, lol. They really helped me last time. Plus I like being able to walk around.

I have had 4 natural, drug free labours, including a 10lb, 3oz posterior (sunnysideup) baby, and after that performance, I am seriously willing to take anything to diminish the pain!

I had an 11lber naturally.......but even then, the thought of someone sticking a needle into my spine scared me. Actually, the thought of anyone sticking a needle in me anywhere scares me. I have them give me the oxytocin without telling me.

I wont rule it out, I had one with my first, as it just went on too long, with my second, by the time I begged for it, it was too late, so hoping not to have it again, but if it ends up being a longer labour then, will have it.

I will not let the dr.'s come near me with the gas or injections of anything. I get sick just from harmless cough syrup. So no to any of that.

I will however stick it out for as long as I can and then have an epi. I am not a fan of pain.:thumbsdown:

i have no idea what to expect from birth so im going to take it as it comes, if i need it then ill have it, i suppose ill want to research it some first :)

I cant wait to try the gas!
