I am desperately seeking a post natal doula in Melbourne to help out after the birth of my second baby.I'm due in early December and we are having a home birth with midwife. I had my first baby in a birth centre in NZ and loved being able to stay in the centre for a couple of nights. And then of course we had friends and family around for support after that, especially with tricky things like breastfeeding!
To be honest, whilst I am excited about having a home birth and very committed to having another water birth, then I am a bit apprehensive about what it will be like on our own after the midwife leaves! Especially with a busy toddler to handle now too.
Can anyone recommend a post natal doula that might be able to help out for a few weeks? We live in Elwood.
