An election has been called for 21 August. Anyone else a massive nerd and really excited about it? I LOVE elections, no matter what the result. I LOVE watching the votes being tallied, I LOVE the ABC coverage.

Woohoo!! Election time!

Excitement plus in our house today. :smiliedance: So glad she called it for the 21st, my partner will be away at uni on the 28th and watching the coverage without him would be unbearable :laughing:

I love love love federal election time. It's like...the grand final of politics or something. Screw kickyball, gooooo policies! :smiliedance:

I have a flaming crush on him. Not that I want to have his babies or anything, but I want to BE him, you know? Or at least KNOW him and have him over for dinner to talk about elections. :o

BUT, I'm feeling so very disillusioned, I have no idea who to vote FOR :( :(

I'm not so much excited, but nervous that we are going to be led by a sexist, discriminative, homophobic, extreme catholic who has no idea how to speak in public. :no:

I am starting to feel extremely tense about it.
