I rang DHA today and they set me up with homefind (of course there's nothing available yet, nadda zip zilch zero so have to keep watching) and she said something about having to get in contact with Toll? How does it work these days?

When I was still in it was all done by DHA, and DH has neither the time nor the energy to get this move done himself as he'll hardly be here from now until we move as his unit is going out field so much.

So do I ring Toll or will they contact me?

Usually Toll get in touch with you, but it won't hurt to give them a little push along with a phone call.

I can't see any information on their website, I can see this is going to get confusing. I want to get this sorted but oh well. We have to be up in Townsville by the end of this year, preferably before Christmas so I can get to my appointments with the Birth Centre but I can't see Toll or DHA understanding, caring or making it easy.

Ugh, poor you :hugs:, yes, I can't see DHA/Toll making it easy either. I can't remember where I read all the gumpf of the new Toll system, but I have no doubt it will be very confusing as they faze it in.

We're also waiting for Toll to get back in touch with us. As we received our posting before 30 June we could still submit our AFR as we used to through DHA, but when 1 July came along they sent it off to Toll, who have told us to wait at least 21 days for our move to be processed. So now we have to wait until next week before I can contact them again. Rather frustrating as DF goes on his JLC next week then straight off to 2 months overseas. Would really like to try and get as much sorted as we can before he goes but that's not going to happen......

It's just another waiting game as usual :yes:
