Hi All. I have been reading everyones posts for a while now, great way to get the information I needed.
My DH and I have been TTC for about 3 years now, we have been told we have unexplained infertility  , have had all the tests in the world, you know how it goes:gloomy:
I am going in for a Hysteroscopy and Laparoscopy on Wednesday, I am a bit scared as I have only been to hospital once, but I am sure this will help us, My GYN is also putting me on clomid after, to start on my next cycle. I have read some good things about having a Lap and clomid.
Hope it all works for me, sometime I feel that I have left my run a bit late, but we have only been married for 3 years, it took me that long to find my wonderful husband.... and I have years of partying to get out of the way first:D
Cheers Helen
Hi Helen
Your story is spookily similar to mine! I wish you all the best with your tests - I really hope it helps. But can I ask why you are being prescribed clomid if everything seems to be working fine? I thought you only went on clomid if you had problems ovulating?

Good luck with all your tests and with your surgery. I'll keep my :fingerscrossed: for you.
Your dogs are extremely cute, by the way.
Cheers,

I have felt the way you do before. I did finally concieve my son it took 2 1/2 years though, and I am trying again. What are they doing the laproscopy for? Do they suspect endometriosis? Just curious because a friend of mine is having the same problems right now. She has been on clomid several times before, even though they say she ovulates by herself. Has your hubby been tested? Could be a problem with him. Good luck with your procedure, I hope all goes well.
Hope we all get pregnant soon!!

Hi Chicken, Girlgerms and Wantagirl.
Thanks for your replies
Chicken: Not sure why they are putting me on clomid my doc just said it will help and that it was the next stage.
Girlgerms: Thanks my dogs mean the world to me, I actually has my own mobile dog wash buisness.
Wantagirl: Yes they are doing the laparoscopy to check for endormetriosis and checking my tubes are not blocked etc, My husband has been checked out and he has fantastic swimmers which he was very happy about:smiliedance:
Cheers Helen

We've been TTC for about a year and have just been for a laproscopy since someone in the family had it. Procedure is fine and there is nothing to be scared about. A bit sore in the belly button region but am relieved that all has been taken out. How did yours go? All the best in TTC!:p

I have had a laproscopy. i had it when i was 16. The precedure is done under a general, and you have a tiny bit of pain in your belly after. its a day surgury. You are in and out with in the day...
Mine was to see if i had endormetriosis, and i did.
My aunt had severe endormetriosis, had the whole kit and caboodle (forgive my early morning brain, its elsewhere). She had to be cleaned out as the endormetriosis had taken over everything.... After this procedure she fell pregnant the next month.
As for me - i TTC for a couple of years with my ex, but the relationship soured, and then i met my now husband - we fell pregnant within a month....
IMO this is a great procedure, if it brings you closer to your little bub - than its all worth it...
Good luck!!!
