No seriously, Do you like the school, are you finding your litte one is comeing along nicely there etc ?
Do you know if they have any spots left this year for kindy kids, I called them today but no answer so will call again on monday.
Whats the child to teacher ratio, At main stream DD has her own TA will it likely be simalar there or is it done diferntly?
My DD has Cp, but she can walk a little bit and talks really well, also uses a chair, She also has a feeding pump that she is hooked up to 24 hours a day so that will go to school with her as well she also has seizure disorder and developement delay and a few more things going on Will She likely fit in at Merriwa es suport do you think ?
Would love to organise to catch up we are in joondalup but go to ocean keys so let us know when you are free :)

There is one teacher and about 4 to 5 aids at the moment there are 6 children in the class im not sure if they have any places left but the lady in charge should be back on monday.i love the school. When my son started there at the start of the year he didnt do a lot now he can tell the colour green ,red and yellow sings alot more is more active with the things he does .He cant talk much yet but the teacher and chris peterson the lady in charge have gone out of there way to learn makaton signing to help him communicate with them. All the children love to be there .They do have a special ed bus that goes to there school if your child needs to catch a bus the bus stops at the school and the aids wait to there to take them to the class room. The class has a strict routine which the kids dont seem to mind.and im free any time except wednesdays. The kindy class is on a monday and tuesday from 8.30 am to 2.40 pm

How did your dd go at school today?
Ds doesn't go to the same school as your dd, but to our local special school. He loves it there, he is talking more, he was the only child in his class that can talk, but this term there is a little girl in there that talks too, so he copies her & the teacher said he is talking more which is great.
Ds went to a mainstream kindy, he learnt a lot there, but is doing better at his school because the class sizes are smaller & he gets so much one on one & the learning is based on each childs needs, he isn't made to sit at a desk & pretty much be told what to do, everytime we go in there he's playing & the teacher or an aide is with him chatting to him (which he loves), or he's having some quiet time on the floor or in his wheelchair.
I'm sure your dd is going to love her school.
