Hey everyone,
Well, i have already introduced myself a few weeks ago. The last time that i was on here, I was only a couple of weeks pregnant and everything seemed to be going horribly! I had recently split with my partner of 3 years and a couple of weeks after we split, i found out that i was pregnant. I am now nearly 11 weeks pregnant, and wow- i didnt even know that anyone could be this sick! :barf: For the past 7 weeks i have struggled every day to get up out of bed and survive! I was throwing up 10-15 times a day- at all hours (3 am included) and had tried everyone's tips for MS. Nothing worked! So i ended up going back to the doctors- and he has put me on Maxolon. I'm not happy about being on it and only take it when absolutely necessary.
I just wanted to re-introduce myself. This is my first baby! Me and the daddy are now trying to work things out, and is extremely difficult, but he's great and very supportive. I live and work on the north side of Brissy. Anyone else from around here? I'm a 21 year old female. Would love any advice anyone has! :yelclap: Look forward to talking! :smiliedance:

Cheers- Ellissa

Welcome Back

I don't know about advice for ms - I do know I had it a bit with no. 1 and alot with no.2 - I also know that when the bubba gets there you would do it again in a flash even with the ms!!

All worth it in the end.

Hope you feel better soon :hugs:

Welcome
Hope you enjoy it here as much as we all do !

Just a note on your m/s it might actually be hyperemesis so if it continues & the maxalon does nothing please speak to your g.p about this as it can lead to loss of weight & dehydration ( i went through it myself i wont say for how long as i dont want to stress you :o ). There are a few other alternatives to the maxalon if that doesnt work btw & you arent harming bubs by using them !
Take care :hugs:

Thanks for you welcome!!! This pregnancy is extremely hard- and although its horrible to think that anyone else is going through the same thing- its kind of nice in a way (comforting) to know that im not alone in this! Everyone is saying how this should be beautiful and very enjoyable- but im just depressed! :gloomy:
If there is anyone who lives here in brissy or some mum's who get together here, can someone let me know please??

ta- Elle (sick of being sick!):barf:  :detective:

Oh Elle - poor love

I so know how you feel! - I went to say to the middie "I'm so sick of being sick" (just as you say in the thread) - and I burst into tears

The good news is that the sicker you are the healthier the baby is (some may say its an old wives tale but I swear it must be true!!)

Alyoo - hmmm - maybe that's what I had (not that I can repeat what that big long word was at this time of night!)
