"Sunrises to Sunsets" gift idea

I'm not sure if this is the right spot, but i'm sure someone will move it for me if I'm wrong :)

I saw a flyer for this local artist at the library today... I think it is such a beautiful idea that I just HAD to share it with you all!

"Sunrises to Sunsets" (http://www.sunrisestosunsets.com.au/) is run by a lady named Sandy Willmett. She has taken a photo of every sunrise and sunset for the past several years - since 2001 I think.

What a lovely idea for a birth or christening present - or even a wedding day - the sunrise and sunset of one of the most important days of you life.

You can get them framed with a photo you supply, of your baby or wedding day etc.

I remember reading about this when I was pregnant with DD in 2000. I told my dad about it (he loves a bit of photography) and after DD was born he presented me with pictures that he had taken of the sunrise of the day she was born. He drove up the mountain that rests behind the town they live in and took a whole heap of the sun rising over Port Phillip Bay.
He then did the same when Hamish was born last year. It's such a nice memento of the day they were born.

I remember reading about her in That's Life a while back. It's such a great idea and talk about dedicated, getting up early everyday to get the sunrise.

I have two and they are both fantastic.

They are of both my children's birth. I picked the sunrise.

When our baby girl was stillborn, we got both the sunrise and sunset of the day she was born. They are beautiful, we put a photo of our angel with the pictures, it is nice to have something of the day she was born.
They are worth getting.
