Hi everyone,
My name is Jane and I am a 1st year student of Bachelor of Midwifery at ACU, Melbourne. I have 6 children of my own and am passionate about my new career!
As a requirement of the course we undertake a number of “Follow through Journeys” with pregnant women and their families. With the support of a midwife mentor we are given the opportunity to learn by being involved with expectant women, attending antenatal appointments, birth classes, births and post natal appointments. The level of involvement is entirely up to you. As a student midwife I can offer one to one support, research any questions you may have under the guidance of my mentor and the university.
I live in East Malvern and am more than willing to travel 20 to 30 kilometres or so from CBD, in any direction, to appointments.
