I was just wondering at what point I stop calculating my baby's age week to week and start doing it by month for the purpose of things like his immunisations, etc? If you go week to week he is 6 months old (24 weeks) next Monday but if I go month to month he won't be 6 months until September 6. Would appreciate any advice...
my doctor told me at first to go by the weeks but then after her 4mth needles we went by months..So now i just go by the 22nd of each month as to how old she is.
Sorry im not much help.

for the sake of immunisations, i called my sons age by mths.
Eg: my DS was born may 20th. I got his shots on or beside Sept 20th. (4 mth shots) Thats how my paed wanted me to look at it anyhow. I look at it as the 20th of each mth is a new mth, i dont use weeks now as each mth has a differnt amount of weeks.
Aside from that, in general personal talks, once he hit 4 mths, i stopped using weeks and went by mths.
Everyone is so different with this, it will be interesting to read.
Cute avatar btw, so cute!

Me too. I switched from weeks to months at 12 weeks/3 months.
I started off in weeks and then after week 16 or so it was just easier to go by months. You lose track of what week it is after a while! :D
