Wouldnt it be nice if there was a suitable one for only that much?! I need a twin with toddler seat and am looking at upgrading atm from my valco twin which cost me around $650 including toddler seat... to an adventure buggy.. but new with todd seat they are $1160.... wowser hey ... I cant find a single other twin pram that A) takes a toddler seat and b) holds 70kg+ ... ive found one other that takes a todd seat but its only meant to hold up to 50kg.. which is the problem i have with the valco!

ARGH PRAMS!!!

Have you tried the "Childcare Esprit Lite" it has hight adjustable handles. It is more like a layback stroller, but has the 2 front bars and boot cover and all the extra for newborns. Maybe have a look on the child care web site or ring around a few babyshops or baby target.
Good luck:fingerscrossed:

the cheapest twin prma i found was $500 :(
and all the nice looking ones are around 700 dollar mark where i live. i have decieded i hate pram shopping/browsing coz the shop people try to convince you to buy prams that cost an arm and a leg lol and one tried to tell me i could put ds1 in the back of a P&T E3 :shame: until i pointed out it would flip over.

Don't be put off by the prams advertised over your budget. Note down a few makes and models that suite you perfectly, then find it at the price you can afford.

Styles that have been on the market for awhile and Brands that have just or are about to offer a new model are easily bargained down as many stores are happy to sell floor stock to make room for new products.

catalogue restricted stores like Baby Target / kmart / bigw etc will also discount older stock right before a major advertising campaign or promotion (those items not in the latest catalogue and floor stock / last of a line items they will no longer be selling) but you have to ask a floor or department manager as these discounts are in addition to any advertised mark down price.

Outside of the department stores, just be upfront with the sale people. Let them know you need (A/b and c) and can only afford (your budget). show them your list of preferred prams and tell them your willing to look at floor stock and older models if they can offer something from that list at the price you can afford.

You'll be surprised at just how much an item 'can' be discounted as long as your sensible about your choices.

Do you need a toddler seat too? If not you have heaps to chosse from, go to www.strollersandprams.com (http://www.strollersandprams.com) click on search they have about 25 for you to check. Or you could try Target, K-mart and Big W. And they have heaps on eBay too. Hope this helps.

Here is some informantion I got of Roxy.

Fitnesswise make a side by side twin 3 wheel jogger that can take a toddler seat.

peg perego and Innglesina both make a classic long line stroller with 3 layback seats and hoods for all seats. These go second hand on ebay quite often (the seats are all removeable from the chaiss so you can make it a two or three seater)

Adventure buggy make a side by side three wheeler that you can attach a toddler seat (or two) to however the toddler seats do not have any sun protection and are molded plastic like a bike carrier seat.

Emmaljunga (sp?) make a side by side twin that can have one or two toddler seats attached to it. once again no sun protection but you can purchase parasols separately

Baby jogger Q series has a side by side 3 seater jogger.

Mountain buggy twins do not have toddler seat but do take a kiddy board.
Mountain buggy triplet is a side by side with 3 seats all with sun protection
bertini bidwell twins also do not have a toddler seat but do take a kiddy board.

There may be other brands too but these are the ones I've come across

I hope this helps

The twin Steelcraft Side by Side jogger is about $450 and is quite high in height so could be good for you??

I'm quite short so it rules out most twin prams such as the Maclaren and the Steelcraft one.

I have seen the Brand new doubles prams on Ebay - but would prefer to test it out before bidding and no one has that option!! :(

So I'm still looking around.
