My share of freebies

Firstly I would like to thank all that have shared their experiences with getting free pregnancy and baby samples here at the forum - it has certainly inspired me to do the same and see where I can get!

I sent some emails out last week and here is a list what I have gotten so far

Jurlique (The best ever so far I think)
- a nice wrapped packed came in the mail for me today containing good size bottles of 1x baby's calming massage oil, 1xbaby's gentle shampoo & body wash, 1x baby's soothing moisturising cream, 1 x baby's soothing barrier cream

L'Occitane - Mom and Baby (face & body) cream sample pack, information leaflet

Curash - 1 x moisturising soap free bath, 1x 2 in 1 shampoo & conditioner for baby, 1x anti rash baby power sample packs and information leaflet

Gelpack - nappy sacks sample packs

RiteAid - nursing pads and hydrogel breast discs

Avado - baby naturals range sample packs - moisturiser, bath & body wash. tangerine & vanilla shower gel

That is all for me so far. Have emailed quite a few others but no news yet.

Mustela - 1 x no rinse cleansing fluid for baby, 1 x dermo cleansing, cleansing gel for hair and body for baby, 1 x vitamin barrier cream for baby, 1 x stretch marks double action cream for mum, 1 x specific support bust cream for mum (all very good sizes for samples!!)

BabyLove - newborn nappy sample x 1

I'll add to the list if I get more!

So you just pick a company at random and just email them asking for a sample?

Do you just email them for a sample im unsure how you get them would love to try out some samples of bits and pieces =)

Sounds like you got a few bits and pieces. Its always nice to get things in the mail besides bills too.

There's been a few other similar posts in the past.. so I went through them and got some ideas on the companies that are likely to send out samples. But I think in the end it is really the luck of the draw - you email out to a whole bunch of different companies - you get some yes and some no's

Yes what I did is just google them and email them and then wait :)

Who did u contact at Mustela?? I had no probs googling to find aussie details for everyone else except these guys...

I went through that thread a while ago, but it got really huge lol so i sort of lost interest lol

I have already received an email back from curash and jurlique stating that they have popped some samples in the post for me already which i think is really nice (most companies dont reply, just send u them)

So exciting!! (like a kiddy at xmas heheh)

Yes I did, just tell them I'm interested in trying out new products and if they have any samples for me to try as there are so many products in the market

LOL Thanks Hun - i actually guessed and sent her an email and yes she is lovely! replied and asked me a few questions which is so nice, it makes me want to buy from these companies when they are so personal and forthcoming!

Just wondering what do you ladies ask/ tell them when requesting the samples?

I told them that it is my first pregnancy and there are many products out there and it would be helpful for me to have some samples to try out before deciding on a particular brand.

I emailed so many places and got nothing! Even huggies didn't send me their advertised free samples!
