Hi guys

Ive been going to the same hairdresser for about 5 years. They certainly are expensive but usually do a wonderful job.

The last few times Ive been I have not been happy. Its taken 5 hours for a simple colour, cut, blowdry and a few foils because they shove so many people in. Then I get this trainee who slapped colour all over my FOREHEAD... and I go dark, near black.... so i had this colour on my scalp for ages. It seems like because im a regular that they just do 'whatever' and assume I wont care. When I ask for a cut, it gets hacked with like a pair of shaver scissors and im just.... well not happy anymore.

The trainee put the colour on and managed to miss big chunks and while the manager pointed her mistake out to her (while im sitting there like ) they still managed to charge me $160.

I asked for dark dark brown, with bright red foils through it, and Ive ended up with patchy brown/ dark brown (not noticable im sure but I know its there) and PINK hair because some of the red "didnt take".

So.

Im looking for a GOOD colour stylist who will listen to me and give me a good service. Im a big person so I need the chairs to be comfortable and not breaking my neck everytime i move or cutting circulation off in my legs.

I wanted to try Stefan but have heard they are pricey and not the greatest either so please someone recommend me a good hairdresser!

I had my hair done at INK at Newmarket last time I visited Brisbane and they were wonderful they chatted about what I wanted and listened and also knew what would suit and all that I didn't get a colour but I think my sister has and was happy with it!. HTH

Pete (the owner) of Bach Hair Paddington. Never a bad hair cut from any of his staff which are all trained there.
There is also another Bach Hair at Graceville/Chelmer.

Strawberry - I go to Crow Hair in Wavell Heights (Bilsen Rd). Ph: 3861 9111. Takes a bit to get an appointment and they are all awesome. Costs me $80 for half head foils, cut and blowdry. Fantastic service.

I would highly recommend Meg from the Beauty Parlour in Wilston. She runs a salon from her home and gave me the best cut and colour I've ever had. She charged $120 for a full head of foils and $45 for a cut and blow wave.
