my baby girl is just goin on 8 months doing the whole rocking thing , up on four knees but just wont crawl.lol she gets around on her bum did any one elses child do this lol.

My little brother used to do the bum scoot thing. He never crawled. He went straight to walking from bum scooting. :D
My nephew used to crawl using his arms, but it took ages for him to realise that to actually move forward, his legs had to become involved ! As a result, he too adopted the rocking action !
One day, he was just hanging there ... rocking ... and he took off. I think he was more surprised than anyone else !
From that moment on, there was no stopping him ! He worked it out, in his own time, and we all had many laughs while he got it happening !!
